The Rosebud project was operated from 1997 through 2000 by a joint venture between Newmont and Hecla. Over that period, the mine successfully processed 953,000 tons of ore grading 0.416 oz Au/ton (14.26 g/t) and 2.42 oz Ag/ton (82.97 g/t).
Total recovered production was 396,842 ounces of gold and 2,300,000 ounces of silver — a testament to the deposit's grade and processing amenability.
2025 NI 43-101 inferred resource.
The property currently hosts a 2025 NI 43-101 Inferred Mineral Resource, open-pit constrained using long-term gold and silver prices of US$2,500 and US$35 per ounce respectively. The deposit is open in all directions.
